The Chairman of the Edo State Football Association (EFA), Frank Ilaboya, affirmed on Wednesday that the remaining parts of previous Super Eagle's mentor, Stephen Keshi, had been moved to a funeral home in Benin.
The exclusive morgue, Faith Mediplex, is situated on the Benin Airport street in the Edo State capital.
Mr. Ilaboya cited Mr. Keshi's faimily part, Ricky Aburimen, as saying the Eagle's previous mentor just whined of a leg infirmity while holidaying at his Airport street home in Benin before he passed away.
He said Mr. Keshi kicked the bucket while in transit to doctor's facility at around 3 am.
The ex-universal lost his significant other , Nkem Kate Keshi just last December. They had been hitched for over 30 years. She passed on after a delayed fight with growth.
Mr. Keshi is made due by four kids and his mom.
In the interim, an announcement on the mentors demise had been discharged by Emmanuel Ado, sibling and associate to the late Mr. Keshi, said: "With thanksgiving to God, the Ogbuenyi Fredrick Keshi group of Illah in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, declares the passing of Mr. Stephen Okechukwu Chinedu Keshi'.
"Our child, sibling, father, father-in-law, brother by marriage, has gone to be with his significant other of 35 years (Nkem ), Mrs. Kate Keshi, who went on the ninth December 2015.
"Since her demise, Keshi has been in grieving. He returned to Nigeria to be with her. He had wanted to fly back today (Wednesday), before he endured a heart failure. He has discovered rest." (NAN)
